Just make something already.

Yeah, go make anything. Really, anything at all. Anything that speaks to you.

Even better, something that will speak truth to others and should be heard.

Something with a perspective that’s worth seeing just for its beauty.

Ad people are making too much shit these days. Yes, shit. Absolute shit!

Web copy. Content for contents sake. Or worse, SEO content.

And endless emails, landing pages, banners, Facebook ads. Instagram posts.

Crappy little videos that no one wants to watch besides the client.

We all have bills to pay. It’s OK to keep the lights on but you also have to keep the fire burning.

So take a moment and make something you actually care about. It may just save your love of being a creative.

If you’re not ever creating things that are worthy, why even create anything at all.
